Default Book about February 2007 Tornado in the Villages

Book written and published by a villages resident who went through the 2007 tornado in Caroline. There are seventy stories from TV residents in the book. Very interesting 400+ page paperback. Copies can be obtained by emailing the village resident and author at efrederick@earthlink.net

Default Fascinating Read

I picked up a copy this morning. It sure puts real faces on it for those of us who weren't here. I can't even imagine the horror at the time and realize what a miracle that no one here died. Unfortunately, some further in the path were not as lucky. Anyway, well written account of the reality of living through a tornado. Dr. Frederick did a good job with 400 plus pages of riviting reading.

Default Inside a tornado

Have talked with many people since who went through the tornado in the villages and they agree it was an accurate account of the event. It was great reading.

Would you recommend this book to potential Villagers? We notice many houses for sale that mention new roofs, which we assume is because of the 2007 tornado. Thanks for the info.

I emailed Ed Frederick and ordered two copies. He stopped by this morning with the books, and my wife and I enjoyed the ensuing conversation. He has quite a story to tell and so do the respondents in the book. BTW, we are getting a weather alert radio.
