Default Avatar. How much do you think it will make next weekend?

Anyone else looking forward to seeing James Cameron's opus Avatar? Think it will boom or bust??

I cannot really see it doing as well as the November release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. It should do fairly well though just because it is in 3-D.

Default Caution

This is a 3-D movie. Be sure the theatre you see it in has 3-D. I sar A Christmas Carol in TV and was disappointed because they did not have 3-D

Angry The Villages theatres do not disclose that they show only in 2-D!

Beware - The Villages theatres do not advertise that their theatres do not show 3-D. Avatar and Christmas Carol, are shown in 2-D.
I bought our tickets and went in, then discovered that there was no 3-D. When I asked about the glasses, they said "we did not advertise that it was in 3-D". I had to stand in line again to get a refund, then she tried to act like I was stupid. They did not advertise that it was in color, or in English either, but maybe it's too much to expect them to tell us in advance that they cannot show 3-D. It is a 3-D move! The big draw is the new 3-D technology. I guess they think we are all so stupid that we won't know the difference.
The Villages theatres should be more forthright. They should at least put a sign in the box office window.
