Personally I like Daniel Craig then Sean Connery.

Without question, Sean Connery is the Agent 007. Too bad he's a little too long in the tooth to keep up the act.

But then again, we know a few people that can't "keep up the act" for the same reason, don't we?

I'll have to go with Sean Connery although the others, with the exception of Lazenby, have been excellent. 8)

I believe Sean Connery set the standard that only Pierce Brosnan as second and Roger Moore as third could only come close to. The new guy is great as an action character but he lacks the smoothness of the the other three.

As the original, Sean Connery definitely set the standard as the best James Bond.

However, I'd have to say the new movie (Casino Royale) was the best James Bond movie, maybe because of all the technical advances in movie making around since Dr No was made! I'd really like to see Sean Connery, as a young James Bond, in a 2007 version of the movie to see how he'd stand up against Daniel Craig (who was excellent in the role too). But alas, there's things I'd like to do again too but can't....

I really liked the new movie (Casino Royale) too. Saw it twice and bought the DVD. It is coming to the Villages again as part of the Encore Film Festival. It will be at the Old Mill Playhouse according to their paper schedule from September 14th through the 20th, 2007. That's 2 hours and 24 minutes well spent watching Casino Royale again.
