Bond is not relevant these days, as dead as Ian Fleming. It would have been more interesting if this casting was done earlier.

Coked up Hollywood has been miscasting lead roles for years but this one attains the height of absurdity so far. In the books written by Ian Fleming James Bond is a chain-smoking (was it Chesterfield's?), tuxedo or dinner jacket wearing smooth talking lady's man. Remember Miss Moneypenny? lol

Now if she is a good actress put her into a role that is believable.

This is not James Bond. Just the agent who has the license to kill attached to the 000s. In this case 007.

I thought they really messed up when they didn't choose Robin Roberts, that could of been a trifecta. A gay black woman, what could be better that? My second choice would be Jessie Smollett, but I heard he's going to be the next Batman
