I had just written this whole big thing in here about how the movie "The Bank Job" is on Pay Per View right now.

And how it is pretty good and how to find an old thing I wrote long ago on here about it.

And then I posted it.

And then the search thing I had explained no longer worked when I tried it after the post.

And then I could not delete this post because it was the start of a thread.

And so this post just looked totally goofy hanging out there with bad directions in it.

And so I just went in and deleted all the words in this post and wrote this.

So anyway, "The Bank Job" is a pretty good movie. And last March I wrote a review of it under some thread called "Movie Forum" but it was not in the movie forum because we did not have a movie forum in March.

So this is looking all too silly now. And midnight is approaching. And I must not type after midnight.

So, maybe watch "The Bank Job" if you want to.

And if some administrator sees this, I hope he will have mercy on me and just delete it. It makes no sense I realize. But I cannot make it go away.:redface:

I sent Darrel two messages last night to get rid of this thing. I picked him because his light came on during this big goof I made when I started this thread. I have never PM'd Darrel. I may have scared him or something. So I get up this morning and here this :edit: thing still is. I became so disgruntled that I ended up ranting about healthcare again.

I really want this thread to go away. But I cannot make it go away. It is making me look even more completely goofy than I do with my healthcare rants and my "Dear John" letters and all that stuff.

But this thread. Geez! I look so very, very goofy. And I cannot make it go away. Maybe this is "The Inferno" or something. Well, I guess it would really just be "Inferno Light" because it is not that big a deal. But it will teach me not to type late at night. Ya think???

I just got home and looked back in and here still is the thread I started with my goofy post last night. And now it is growing and will not disappear and yet, I still keep writing more goofy stuff in it.

I think this may be turning into a Seinfeld episode. The thread about nothing.

But maybe at least somebody decided to watch the movie "The Bank Job" on Pay Per View and liked it. I can only hope. That is what this thing started out to be about.

But now, I really do think we are caught in a Seinfeld episode.

Oh well.

I can get pretty silly sometimes. I know that. Especially when I type late at night.

Anyway, what happened is that I was trying to give directions on how to find an old thread, from way back in March. At that time, I had just gone to see "The Bank Job" in a theater. After I returned from the movie on that March night, I guess I looked in here and saw the thread where somebody was wanting to know if there could be a movie forum. We did not have one at the time. There was a little discussion in the thread and then I got in it and wrote a little post about "The Bank Job."

Anyway, last night, when I saw that "The Bank Job" was on DirecTV, I thought I would go back and find that thread from March so that I could share the info with anybody who might want to watch the movie now on television.

But when I started to bump it by hitting "Reply," a red warning came up and said the thread was old and did I reeeeeeally want to bump it or maybe should I just start a new one. (Or maybe the red warning said I was old. Oh, I don't know.) But anyway, I thought that I would start a new thread with an explanation about the old thread. And I had written a little something about how I had found the old one so easily. Directions about using quotation marks around phrases and all. It was actually quite a tedious post.

Long story short -- well, not exactly I guess -- I decided to forget the whole thing and go to bed. So I tried to just delete the incoherent mess I had written. But it was the first post in this thread and you cannot delete the first post in a thread that you start.

So now, I am just going to link that old March thing right in here. It looks kind of weird because now we have a movie forum. But if you want to read what I said all that long time ago about a movie I had just seen at the theater, scroll down and find my post about "The Bank Job."

Hey, is this what they call deja vu? -- all over again.

Or is this actually a Seinfeld episode?

Thanks for the info. I did not know we had a Movie Forum. And yes, this sounds like a Seinfeld episode.

After checking I see that we do have a Movie Forum (Talk of the Movies) and I have posted to it. I usually look at the subject line and not the Forum category.

Sometimes it just feels so good to be silly.

And now that we are just tooling along in this Seinfeld episode and doing fine, the admin will probably see last night's PM from me asking for help in getting rid of my first post before anybody saw it. Oh well, I just sent him a "nevermind" but you know how it goes.

I have never sent Darrell any PM's before and now he has 3 from me, all of which make no sense to him I am sure. Maybe they will banish me for hassling the admins or something. I can only hope.

Oh, zc, I really do not mind. I just need to learn to not type anything when it gets even close to midnight and certainly not after.

I really do not feel ignored at all. They are so busy with the big move this weekend that they probably are up to their eyeballs in stuff.

But what will be funny is if it does disappear after I have decided I don't really want it to. Was it Grumpy who always said, "Bah! Women!"

Anyway, I think the deal is that you can delete when you want to except at the start of a thread. For that you need admin power.

Well, it has been kind of fun being in an episode of Seinfeld here tonight.

If you watch Seinfeld, you may have seen Elaine dance. Well, she dances exactly like I do. And if you remember Bill Cosby's dancing at the beginning of his old TV show when his family danced circles around him and he could not dance very well at all, well that is the way Mr. Boomer dances. So we will be thrown out of those squares in TV, I am certain of it. I sure can digress, huh. Can't dance though.
