Why is "The Lone Ranger" still playing at Barnstorm? It's been there for what seems likes months. Although I liked it, the film was panned by critics. There were, count 'em, 3 people (including me) in the theater when I saw it. Ticket sales can't be covering the costs of showing the film and cleaning the auditorium. Does Disney have a piece of The Villages action, maybe? Or is it a good fit for Brownstone's cowboy motif?

Please, Mr. Movie Booker, give us something new.

It seems they are keeping some movies longer now that they have 24 screens available in the Villages. Barnstorm Theater has a Facebook page. They would probably be more likely to look at that resource than at TOTV. https://www.facebook.com/BarnstormTheater

I have been in some movies here in the Villages where I am the only person in the theater. Believe it has something to do with the contracts with the film distributors. That if they show X movie from such and such distributor they also have to show that distributors other movies for a certain number of weeks.
