Default Dexter Wow!!!

I never thought I would reccomend anything with the content of Dexter. Just explaining what its about is so off putting so I won't do it. I'm the type that at times has to watch through my fingers telling myself over and over its a mov ie, its a movie. My friend and I rushed through seasons 1 and 2 and have pre ordered season 3. It kept us on the edge of our chairs and were disapointed when we ran out, now we have to wait. So go out of your way to watch it the many surprises will, well surprise you. Let me know if you enjoy it. Herb

... is not as good as the first two.

I really enjoyed the DVDs of the first two seasons of Dexter. They even got me interested in reading some of the Jeff Lindsay Dexter books even if the plots and characters of these are somewhat different than the series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dexter_Morgan

Default Very interesting but not for everyone

I thoroughly enjoyed all three seasons - I scheduled my Sunday nights around the episodes as I didn't want to wait to see the DVR'ed version later. I too read the books and have found the whole concept to be very entertaining (even though it's a little sick to find yourself rooting for a serial killer!)
I have season's one and two on DVD and watched season 2 again just before season 3 started. When is 3 coming to DVD? (probably just before season 4 airs I bet.
My wife on the other hand was not as enthralled! She was pretty well put off by the opening sequence where he shaved and made pork chops for breakfast, and it went downhill from there for her.

Default The previous seasons' DVDs came out the August before the new season started.

It will probably be in August of 2009.

Steve, like your wife I didn't care for the opening, shaving etc. Fast forward is so very useful. Herb
