Thumbs up November Man

Good old-fashioned thriller spy movie without a pile of CGI. Pierce Brosnan at his best as a retired CIA operative who hasn't lost all his chops and is called back to deal with old Russian adversaries. Fine supporting cast with enough action and plot twists to keep it interesting right to the end.

Pierce Brosnan was good in the movie, and there was a lot of action. It's just that you needed GPS to weave through the plot disconnects. 2-1/2 stars.

Does it need a big screen or can we wait for the DVD or Blu-Ray or Cable?

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy and When the Game Stands Tall recently and these need a big screen IMHO to get the full effect of the film. And an audience to boot.

Most of the film took place in Belgrade with minimal James Bond film-like scenes. So Blu-Ray would work.
