Talking "Airport" 1970.
It is very hard to watch this 1970 epic disaster movie without 1980's Airplane ! lines popping into your head.

Each time I watch airplane catch more funny moments that I did not remember from previous times.

You may be surprised to know that Airplane was not based on Airport. It was a copy of the 1957 movie Zero Hour. Some scenes almost exactly the same with, of course, the obvious exception of one being serious and one a comedy.
