Default The Expendables

Saw this movie on Saturday. If you love non-stop action you will love this movie. It is a guy's movie but I took my wife and she really liked it as well. I don't know if this is playing in TV yet as we don't live there (yet )!

It is playing at two theaters about 20 and 30 miles from the center of the Villages as well as more theaters a little bit further.

Saw an article about it recently and supposedly all the action scenes are for real. All the actions stars had to sign a legal form or something that they were to agree that fight scenes etc were to be real and without CGI.

Stallone, broke his neck, and blew out his shoulder which will require 3 surgery's to fix.

Maybe the discount movie house in Belleview will get The Expendables. Still no sign of it here in the Villages.

It is still packing in a lot of people at the theaters. Don't think it will be heading to a discount house soon. Maybe they don't show it in TV because it is R rated ?

It looks like the Rialto has Machete starting on Friday and The Expendables is going to the Belleview discount movie house starting the same day. These are $5.00 ticket prices at the Belleview Theater.

It was OK for me. It just came out at the local Blockbuster store. Very stupid as far as realism is concerned but it is a take-off on many action movies from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. You kind of should expect the realism of Wiley Coyote vs. the Roadrunner. Meep. Meep.
There is talk of a sequel.

Some of the major action stars of the 1980s and 1990s were missing though like Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal.

Liked Unstoppable too. Went to see it on Monday and there were a lot of women in the audience as well as the many men you would expect.
