Default Favorite Martin Scorsese movie? "The Departed" is mine.

I know there are fans of The Irishman on Talk of the Villages.

I have found many of his movies very entertaining and memorable. My favorite is The Departed. The Departed - Wikipedia

I audited two Film Criticism classes from University of Nevada, Reno film critic Howard Rosenberg in the early 1980s. I already had two BAs so did not need the credits.

The friend, Kirk, of my neighbor was the teaching assistant of Howard Rosenberg. Kirk had also attended Earl Wooster HS.

There is a Los Angeles Howard Rosenberg who is a TV Critic who used to be featured regularly in TV Guide. Howard Rosenberg - Wikipedia

We saw the Howard Rosenberg picked movies at the MGM in Reno, Nevada. This was fun. They had a movie theater in there at that time but am not sure if the current owner of that hotel, whatever it is called now, has that option for Reno movie-goers. Grand Sierra Resort - Wikipedia

Killers of the Flower Moon could be a great movie if done right. The book of the same name was heart-wrenching.

Killers of the Flower Moon - Rotten Tomatoes

Good that there are a sizable number of Native Americans in the cast.

I liked Mean Streets , it’s not his best work but it was basically his first feature film, and many of the characters including De Niro and Harvey Keital keep showing up in his later movies .I grew up in that type of setting with the same kind of guys in Boston and from my experience this movie and Goodfellas are closer to the way things were then The Godfather ( which is still a great movie also )
