Default First time using MoviePass

I am heading off to LSL to see a movie. This will be my first time using MoviePass, can anyone tell me the steps to do this?

I know I have to wait until I get close to the theatre, then I go to my App and then go to LSL and select movie???? How do I get the ticket?

Thank you for your assistance.

MP didn't give any of that info.? Tell me that they don't just sell you their product and not tell you how to use it.

I don't want to mislead you because I forget. Give yourself an extra half hour for the first time. Open moviepass at home and then get close 50 feet to the ticket booth and follow the screen prompts. Extra First Time Data is going back and forth to their servers so be patient and follow the screen prompts.

The theater is going to get the full amount for your ticket so it is quite OK to ask the ticket booth for help. Strangers help too.

Within 100 yards of the theater open the App. Select your movie and time. check in. You will get a message that you are checked in. A box will ask you to take a picture of your ticket. Not the receipt. Submit the pic and go see your movie. Some theaters ask you to sign a receipt just like using a regular credit card. All TV theaters do this.

You will also be asked to take a picture of your ticket with your phone. You can't use the pass again until after you've done this. It can be confusing, give yourself some extra time the first time.

Well, I used it with no trouble. It did not ask me to take a picture of my ticket, just told me I was checked in and I could go to the ticket office and use my card to buy my ticket, which I did. However, then I ran into a small problem, but my fault not theirs. I bought a ticket for the 5:15 show but it was full except for front row, which I did not want to sit it, when I tried to change the ticket for the 7:45 show, he said he couldn't change/refund my movie with MoviePass. No big deal, I just paid for the 7:45 show with cash. Next time I'll be sure the theatres not full.

I'm unfamiliar with MoviePass...so what are its advantages?

Do they give discounts? Priority on entering? Or???

The reason I ask, is because it sounds like quite a few extra steps than just walking up and buying a ticket the old-fashioned way...so there must be a reason people use it.

On Edit: I should have just researched before posting...my bad.

$10 a month, unlimited movies...sounds like a heck of a bargain. I wonder how they can stay in business long...with that price?
