Default Skyfall?

Anyone seen Bond 23 yet? It seems to have set records for the Bond franchise this past weekend. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/169...x-office.jhtml

Thumbs up Saw Skyfall today.

One of the best Bond movies. Quite dark in plot and tone, but very good.

Wonder if we willl ever see a Bond movie up for an Academy Award for Best Actor/Actress/Picture/Director? Not saying this one is that good though. The premise of a real James Bond is kind of ridiculous so Bond movies do have that hurdle.

This link may have some spoilers-- http://www.theatlantic.com/entertain...-oscar/265131/ It talks about Skyfall's Oscar chances among other things.

Default Skyfall

Just got through seeing it this evening. Best Bond since Goldfinger, maybe better than Goldfinger.

Just saw it tonight. The photography was spectacular, Great use of colors, shadows, and overhead flying shots. The villain is played by Javier Bardem, who was perfect for the part. Just enough gizmos and chase scenes to give it that old "007 feel". They even bring back the old 1964 Aston Martin for the purists. I give it 5 out of 6 stars.

I agree. Goldfinger is a very close second though.
