Default Angels & Demons

Saw Angels & Demons Saturday night at the Rialto. Very good movie...it followed the book quite well. I do wish, however, that they would have shown it at Old Mill in LSL where the theaters and screens are bigger. I do LOVE the new seats at the Rialto though. The popcorn at Rialto is BAD !!!

I really like the "Da Vinci Code". Cant wait to see this one. The critics are all over this movie. would be nice to see it at Old Mill. Not a fan of Rialto either. Lately all the top movies seem to go to Spanish Springs.
Not much on Pop Corn. Stop by Taco Bell and sneek some Tacos in the wife's purse I will.......

Default Angels & Demons seemed a little more realistic than The Da Vinci Code.

I saw this on its opening day in a Tampa Bay area movie theater which had stadium seating and a very large screen. I wanted to see it on the largest possible screen and ASAP. A first showing was important to me as I did not read the book so I did not want anyone spoiling the twists.

And if you like Rome, there are a very large number of scenes of Roman buildings-- both exterior and interior.

I do not mind the Rialto-- the seats are nice and the sound is usually OK. I do though often have to wait a few weeks to see popular movies in TV when they are only playing at the Rialto as they fill up the seats really fast. Like with Gran Torino and Taken when they first opened in TV at the Rialto.

Default In some ways, better than the book...

Typically, the movie doesn't match up with the book for me. I always like the book better. But in this case, as good as the book was, the movie was even better. The ending was a little different, in fact less preposterous than the book.
Mrs SteveFromNY liked it too. We are even considering seeing it again.
I'd recommend it as worth seeing.
