Default The Great Gatsby - Anyone See It Yet?

I am planning on seeing The Great Gatsby sometime during my visit to TV. Has anyone seen it yet and would like to give their review? And should it be seen in 3D or the non-3D version?

I am saw it in the non-3D, and even with that I got a little light headed with some of the special effects, had to look away. That's why I don't go to a lot of 3D movies, just depends on how I feel. Very visual movie and liked the actors in it, fun to watch.

Saw it in 3D....not worth seeing IMHO...too much extravaganza...the men look better than the women and the dialog is poor...watch a few episodes of Doc Martin on Netflix...time better spent.

Did not see the movie in 3D but thoroughly enjoyed it. If you enjoy that era definitely worth your time - great costumes and music.

I liked the book and enjoyed the movie, especially the costumes and historic panoramas of NYC. The Barnstorm theater is a good venue. I recommend the 3D.

OMG - I live just east of Schaumburg Road and Springinsguth, and just west of Schaumburg High School. Big road construction project on Schaumburg Road this summer from Roselle Road all the way to Barrington Road . But you remember Chicago only has two seasons -- Winter and road construction LOL.

I sent an e-mail to the Chicagoland Club last week to see if there was a meeting this month but did not get an answer. Tell all the other Schaumburgers and Hoffman Estates people that I am holding down the fort for them in the land just west of O'Hare.

I have lived in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg since 1994, so I took my TOTV name from Schaumburg. I believe there is a village/town in Germany called Schaumburg. Schaumburg, IL was originally settled by Germans back in the 1800's.
