Recall one Earl Wooster HS English teacher often talking about justice in the movie Dirty Harry when she had gotten her hands on a copy of The Ox-Bow Incident which she had gotten for the class to view.

Her and her husband were from Texas if memory serves her thoughts kind of reminded me of the saying "Don't Mess with Texas" even that did not come around until the 1980s.
