Default A Hard Day's Night in TV Theaters?

Digitally remastered "A Hard Day's Night" has opened nation-wide. Any news on showing this Beatles classic (now 50 years old!) in any of the local theaters?
If you saw the original, what were your thoughts and reaction?

The original marked a point where the world changed. There was nothing like The Beatles before. They were completely different and very good.

There was never a movie anything like this before. It changed the way movies were made.

As Ron Howard recently stated, "Their impact on music and our culture cannot be exaggerated."

I do, too! My best friend and I went to the theater on Austin Street in Forest Hills and stood in line with hundreds of other girls. When we were finally allowed into the theater, everyone went nuts the minute the first chord was struck! Since they didn't make you leave after one showing, we stayed there most of the day. The poor matrons must have gone mad! When we finally left, Liz and I were hoarse and red-eyed, and the next group of group of crazies (many who had been standing there for hours) finally made their way in. This is something I'll never forget, and my friend and I still speak of it to this day! As it's been digitally enhanced and re-released, I'd love to see it at one of the theaters down here, too!

Would there be an audience in TV if the movie were to play in any of the theaters here?

I would like to see it. The Old Mill Playhouse and Barnstorm Theaters have Facebook pages. Maybe, someone should recommend them getting this movie. https://www.facebook.com/BarnstormTheater https://www.facebook.com/OldMillPlayhouse

The Rialto has been showing a lot of Indies as well. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-V...18785261515917

If someone else will start a Facebook petition of sorts to get this movie in the Villages. I would be happy to add my real name. I try to keep a lower profile on my Facebook page because it uses my real name. I have angered some people with stuff in the past I have posted on Findlaw (2001-2007 or so) and elsewhere using my real name so I try to be a little more cautious.

Seems like this is the perfect audience. We're the same people that waited in lines for hour to see it fifty years ago. It would be absurd for it not to be screened here.

I watched my VHS copy of The Yellow Submarine last month. I have added A Hard Day's Night to my Netflix queue.

It is probably a movie like The Rocky Horror Picture Show that you have to go to a movie theater with an audience to really get the idea of. I saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Steve S. and Jo I. Both of these were U of Denver Library students and were there throwing things at the screen with the rest of the audience. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Roc...r_Picture_Show I did throw popcorn too.

You might want to pitch in as well.
