Question The Flyboys.

The Flyboys (Sky Kids) - Rotten Tomatoes

Anyone seen this movie playing at the Old Mill Playhouse? It is from 2008 but looks like it would be quite fun.

Nice joke. I have been going to the Old Mill Playhouse since it opened (2007?) and that was the first time that I have noticed anyone smoking in any Villages' theater. In fact, I have never noticed anyone smoking in any theater I have been. Farting very loudly in Reno and of many quieter levels in many other places. But never any smoking and that covers movie theaters in CA, AZ, NV, IL, MN, and FL. Not the drive-ins though.

I'll have to put it on my Netflix list. I may also go see it at the Old Mill Playhouse. There is always quite a dramatic difference between seeing a movie on a very large screen with an audience and just viewing one on TV or on a computer screen. I see many of the movies I get on DVD on a small computer screen.

I believe the 2008 movie "Flyboys" is not the same movie. That movie was about Americans flying in WWI.

Some one posted the movies are not the same. They are correct. Flyboys is a 2006 movie about WWI American Pilots. It is very good and can be streamed down from Netflix. The Fly Boys is about two kids. Not the same movie. I watched the trailer looks like a good flick. THe movie I watched on Netflix is not the same flick.

The Flyboys (2008) - IMDb

It does not seem to be available on DVD in our region. Just Europe? Region 2. The Flyboys (2008) - IMDb http://www.ebay.co.uk/ctg/Sky-Kids-DVD-2009-/72556739

I liked the James Franco movie Flyboys. It is from 2006. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1161034-flyboys/

Default Old fashioned movie.

I really enjoyed The Flyboys. I saw it this afternoon. It has a lot of action, some great flying scenes done without computers taking over the special FX, and even the actor who played Private Ryan http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/saving_private_ryan/ when he is walking through the graveyard at Normandy. Not sure how they pulled that off as he--Harrison Young-- died in 2005. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrison_Young

You should go see it before it leaves the Villages. It still is not out on DVD in the US as far as I know.
