Actually two miniseries about WWII.

A little dated. But since it is a period piece, it does not seem like it.

I thought both series were great. It was made for TV, so there is something in it for a broad viewing audience (both genders, most ages).

Worth watching.

1) The Winds of War (first miniseries) can be streamed from netflix

2) War and Remembrance (second miniseries) is on DVD at netflix.
