aside from my grandchildren who loved it, have not seen much commentary about The Avengers...anyone who has seen it have an opinion?

Saw it yesterday, Lots of action comic books come to life. No sex or sexual overtones, no cursing...... pretty clean movie. Give it a 6 out of 10 good guys win as always....

I saw the 3D version and I really enjoyed it. Lots of action by the action heroes many of us grew up with.

Default well,

i saw the film tonight and enjoyed it, even though i never read the marvel comic books and even though it was very noisy...the fact that it was friday night and i could have been dancing at katie belle's took away from it a bit, but seeing a theatre full of young families with children was a forgotten experience at least now i can talk about it with my grandchildren

Default Amazing!

Amazing! Surprisingly funny! Robert Downey Jr. stole the show IMO. It was the first time I've seen a sequal to so many movies at once. Made me watch Iron Man & Iron man 2 after which were awesome! Next I gotta see Captain America and maybe Thor, that one wasn't to interesting looking to me. But Iron Man is a must!

Oh btw, the 3D didn't enhance it IMO, just save the $3. Can't wait for it on blu ray! Wish theaters would just get with the program and be HD.

I had a friend who saw the 3D version and thought it was a bit overwhelming in 3d.

We went to the regular version and really enjoyed. Fun movie, action packed. Good character tie togethers. I think Joss Whedon deserves a lot of credit for that his name was all over the movie

Default Scene at end of credits?

Is there a scene or scenes at the end of The Avengers like with the 2 Iron Man movies as well as Thor?

As always

I knew it was coming and sat and waiting and laughed at all the people who were standing up in the corner watching it. There is going to be a Avengers 2, Capt. America 2, and Iron Man 3.

Much of it was filmed here in Cleveland, and we had great fun watching the process. The buildings were disguised, the ad signs on taxis and buses reflected the town/language of the movie scene, and the explosions were really something. The actors and crew visited area restaurants and sights and were really nice to gawkers! Haven't seen the movie yet but am anxious to do so.

They disguised Cleveland to look like NYC? Guess it's cheaper to do that than to film in NYC.

Saw Marvel's The Avengers this morning. Enjoyed it for what it was-- a Summer Blockbuster.
