Default Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1

The third installment of the four "Hunger Games" movie covers about 1/2 of the final book in the trilogy. Not quite as good as the first two movies in the series, but well worth going to see. The cliffhanger ending is the set up for the November, 2015 release of the final movie in the series. If you are a fan of the Hunger Games series I don't think you will be disappointed. 3 stars out of 4.

My wife was disappointed because it was kind of slow and nothing was really finalized before the end. I told her it was just setting up the last movie. I enjoyed it though.

We thought the movie was very good. It started abruptly and got your interest ... but on the flip side there was not any "one minute synopsis" of what happened previously. The movie seemed to follow the book fairly well.

It will be interesting to see how actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's role as Plutarch Heavensbee is impacted in the next film. He died with seven days of filming to go on the next film Mockingjay Part 2.

I liked it. I have not read the last book yet though.

I really liked it. I read all the books and this was my favorite one of the movies so far. I wish they didn't break up the last book, but I guess with a money maker they want to make as much as possible.
