Default Just Getting Started

Despite having a few well-liked actors in this movie, you might want to skip this one, very few laughs, and 2 boring plot lines no one cared about, left the theater before it finished

Just Getting Started (2017) - Rotten Tomatoes

The audience ratings as well as those of the critics agree with you.

We agree 100%. All the laughs were in the trailer. However we did apprecaite seeing and hearing that special guest sing one of his popular holiday songs (We don't want to be total spoilers).

I just saw one on HBO that was similar, "Going in Style" with Morgan Freeman, Alan Arkin and Michael Caine. Very boring and very few laughs. Alan Arkin and Anne Margaret were love interests, and she is still pretty good looking for her age, didn't seem realistic.

I think after the Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline and Robert DeNiro flick "Last Vegas" a couple of years ago and it did pretty well, they've been trying to put together a follow up film for the older crowd.

That seemed to be a favorite in the Villages-- Going in Style. It returned to the Villages after leaving recently. Saw it with my older brother quite a ways back. We both enjoyed it.
