Default Date Night

Better than anticipated - I was really not interested at all in watching this film; assuming it just another sappy lovey-dovey chick-flick (apologies to the ladies). It was fairly good; Steve Carell (not a favorite of mine) was good, Tina Fey (another non-favorite) was pretty fair...her acting seemed downright odd at times, like she was delivering a comedy routine on-stage. Plenty of action, brief roles for Ray Liotta (a fave) and an over-exposed Mark Wahlberg, shooting, car-chases, bad cops, a fun/crazy Tripplehorn couple etc. Give it a solid C+.

I have it in house. Sunday is my day for these kind of flicks. Will let you know then.

I have it too on DVD but have not watched it yet. Will write a short review about it. It has been in the Villages for what seems like months (since April 9) and is finally leaving after coming out on DVD this week.

It must have received enough business at the Rialto to keep it there for so many weeks.

Default Date Night was a fun if forgettable rental.

Enjoyed some parts of Date Night a lot more than others. Watch the credits too for some extra bloopers and like. The whole thing seemed like at elaborate Saturday Night Live skit though.

The movie is only about 85 minutes lond and that includes all the credits, too.

I thought it was pretty good. Laughs and action. What's not to like. I gave it 4 stars on Blockbuster.

I like Steve Carell. I think him leaving The Office to start doing films is a good move. Tina Fey is funny also.
