Default Kick Ass

Didn't know how to write title to get by censors.

After you get over the rather immature title, you will be surprised what a good movie this really is.

Just came out in DVD this week. I rented it for $1.06 at Red Box.

Default Impatient to see it.

This was a very controversial movie when it came out in the theaters. Because of this, I wonder how it will be on TOTV after a few people see it.

I have not seen it yet but remember all the hoopla a few months back. Especially when Robert Ebert attacked it.

Ebert seemed to be in the minority on this one.

Check this one out:

While the movie is about kids it is definitely not a movie for kids. The F word abounds. Kick Ass is kind of a comedy with a boat load of violence and mayhem.

It is a little long at 1:59 but there are not many dull moments.

Default Kick-Ass was extremely gory, profane AND entertaining.

One of the better superhero movies of the past decade or so. There could be a sequel too this one too.

Not a good movie for kids but as soon as you say that, they want to see it.

Default Entertaining & Spicy Treat - Viewers Beware

Hadn't seen any trailers so didn't know quite what to expect...well think Quentin Tarantino/Sam Peckinpah meet Batman & Spiderman with a touch of ummm, oh I don't know, maybe The Karate Kid?
It was a bit long...but seemed to buzz along at good clip for the most part...language is pretty ripe (loads of F-bombs ) and some fight scenes a bit uncomfortable.

Overall pretty good if you tolerate Peckinpah/Taratino violence & raunchy language...my grade; a weak B.
