Default Hellboy 2: the Golden Army

Very unusual for a summer action movie to get a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That means that all the critics who have reviewed it so far liked it. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hell...e_golden_army/

I hope this opens at the Old Mill Playhouse on the theater with the biggest screen-- Auditorium 1.

It is coming to the Villages on the 11th of July. I just do not know to which Village's theater.

It is down to 92% now, but that still is really good.

Does look like Hellboy 2: the Golden Army will be at the Old Mill Playhouse starting Friday July 11, 2008.

Rotten Tomatoes now has it at 89% which is still quite good. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hell...e_golden_army/

If I used Rotten Tomatoes as my critic, I would miss many enjoyable movies.

Instead I use my Brother-in-law (not you Kevin). If he hates it I love it and vise versa.

I go to just about every movie playing at the Old Mill Playhouse because I really like that theater's seats and screens and they rarely have problems with sound and the focus of the picture even if it is sometimes pretty cold in the auditoriums because of the AC.

Metacritic is another useful site for film criticism. http://www.metacritic.com/film/

Saw Hellboy 2: the Golden Army this morning at 10:40 a.m. and it was worth the 87% fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes which it now has. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hell...e_golden_army/

Stopped by Barnes & Noble on the way home to thumb through Leisureville and they have it in the Current Affairs section. Think it belongs more in the Humor section. ;D

Hellboy 2 got three stars in the Orlando Sentinel this morning. That would put it right up there with a lot of other movies.

I ordered Hellboy from Blockbuster. I will get Hellboy2 when it gets to DVD.

Good idea zcaveman. You do need to see Hellboy before seeing Hellboy 2 to get some of the back story in the sequel. You can get much of the story just from Hellboy 2 but lose some of it not being familiar with the first one.
