Thumbs down Coming 2 America - Opinion!

The movie received a lot of publicity and we started to watch it last night. I lasted about 45 minutes somehow before I finally threw in the towel. My Bottom line review > Stupid/retarded worthless. Nice color and sharp.

early reviews on rottentomatoes.com are that it's pretty bad.

I'll pass even though I like Eddie Murphy and the original.

So sad. They had an opportunity to have a lot of fun with the premise.....

The costumes were stunning. I enjoyed the splashes of color on my TV screen, not to mention the beautiful actors and actresses. The story line was pretty thin but it was a great vehicle for Eddy Murphy's talents. Arsenio was great too. Wesley Snipes was a surprise for me to see his comedic chops.

Years ago Eddie Murray made some really funny movies and we would see them all as they came out.

Somewhere along the line we just didnt think he was funny anymore.

I used to love Eddie Murphy, but this one? No.

Eddie Murphy - Rotten Tomatoes

Loved many of his movies but will probably wait until this one comes onto HBO or wherever if it does.

I do not buy these subscription movie vehicles that have been coming out of late so miss movies that are only available on them.

It's sad but this Eddie Murphy isn't the same person we all knew and loved in the SNL days. I will watch it when I have time. Remakes are generally a disappointment.

You should have seen his house in Alpine N.J. Holy Mackeral. I was a little bigger than an entire street of homes in the Historic Section of The Villages. We went up there to look at the Christmas Lights in his neighborhood. Almost as nice as the ones in The Villages.

Truthfully I don't really care for him anymore.

It's FREE on Amazon Prime.

Saw Coming to America 23 years ago and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Hopefully Coming 2 America will do the same.
