I thought it might be fun to share stories about old b/w movies like Robert Osborne does on TCM.

I'll go first, if I remember correctly.

Casablanca was a script, that was originally called, "Everybody Goes To Rick's". Humphrey Bogart was not the first choice to play Rick as I believe it was offered to Gary Cooper. Coop turned it down, because he didn't want to be seen as someone that was not nice, (his opinion, not mine). They also felt that Humphey Bogart, was not the traditional good looking man they wanted for the film.
