Default Argo.

From what I have read of this it sounds like it will be a fascinating movie. Ben Affleck did a superb job with The Town so I have great expectations for Argo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argo_(2012_film) http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/argo_2012/#

Default Facinating story

CBS Sunday Morning did a piece on it. Wasn't interested in the movie before. Not a big Affleck fan. Will see it for sure now.

Argo? Anyone seen this yet? I saw that it was playing at the Barnstorm Theater when I checked out Paddock Mall and Brownwood on Saturday after giving blood at the Loud Boys Group 4th Annual Drive. It is also at Spanish Springs' Rialto.

Saw it yesterday at the Rialto. Great movie, suspenseful, thrilling climax. Theater was packed.

Our children saw it and said the same thing, loved it. We babysat our granddaughter so we will go later. They also had a great dinner at Palmer and great massages at MVP.

Saw it on Sunday at the Rialto. Theater was about 90% full. I agree with CaliforniaGirl's review. This one could be an Academy Award contender - best actor for Ben Affleck, best picture. Takes you back in time 33 years!

Just saw it today at the Barnstorm Theater.

Very good movie.

Plenty of seats available at the 1 p.m. showing.

Aisle stairways are well lit and have a handrail at least in Auditorium 7. Good come in handy with those people who have problems getting up stairs.

Default Argo

One of the best nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat thrillers I've seen in a long time. And it's a true story!
Declassified by Pres. Clinton in 1997, "Argo" tells the story of 6 Americans working at the Embassy in Iran when it was overtaken by terrorists in 1979. These Americans snuck out a back door and were sheltered by the Canadian Ambassador for about two months.
The Movie is about Tony Mendez, a CIA operative, and his unorthodox means of getting these people home. It's a great movie, the acting is great, the suspense is tremendous and I recommend it highly!

Great summary. Seems there is a book about this too by Tony Mendez. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Mendez

Ben Affleck has had a bumpy career since his height of Good Will Hunting and the various canyons like Gigli and Reindeer Games but he seems to be back on the top with Argo and before this The Town. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Affleck

Terrific movie and yes it does bring back the memories from the hostage crisis in Iran from 1079. When you think the movie is over don't get up because there is more and the end is facinating.
