Bruce Willis - Rotten Tomatoes

Bruce Willis has retired from making movies due to dementia. He has made so many movies very fun to watch.

Do you have some favorites? I really was enthralled with The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction and the Die Hard movies. Except the last one set in the Soviet Union. Or, maybe, it had gone back to being Russia by then.

Yeah. He made a lot of fun movies. Pulp Fiction is my favorite. It’s not a motorcycle…it’s a chopper.

The first Diehard and Pulp fiction. I still use the line from the Statler Brothers on occasion - "Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo"

Bruce Willis appeared in about 130 movies. Some were good, but many of them were bad. I have been avoiding movies with his name on them for many years. I wonder why some popular actors will appear in a bad movie just to make some money. The guy is worth $250 million.

dementia is an ugly disease. it robs the patient in the most cruelest of ways, forgetting family members, past friends & business dealings. even birthdays & anniversaries are long gone, leaving a only shell of who the person used to be. my heart goes out to his family & friends, it's a long road ahead.

I enjoyed The Last Boy Scout. And it has one of the first appearances of Halle Berry. The Last Boy Scout - Wikipedia

Not a huge BW fan but Sixth Sense was tremendous. Great film. BW was excellent but IMO many other actors in that role could have been just as good. The story, directing, editing made it so special. And of course Haley Joel Osmont. It’s in my top ten list.

He's not retiring because of dementia. He retired a year ago after being diagnosed with aphasia.
