Default "And so it goes" Mike Douglas Movie

I know this movie has been playing for a while, but saw it this past week and absolutely loved it. I thought it was going to be his typical gigolo casting, but it is much more than that. It's a nice 'feel good' movie and take some extra tissues, when we left there were plenty of women sniffing into their tissues!

I particularly liked Diane Keaton too, she is a woman who is aging very well, never seems to try to look younger than she is, but she is quite beautiful in her way, much like Helen Mirren. Nice to see older women getting great movie parts.

No violence, a couple of bad words, but an easy movie to enjoy.

Really loved this movie. Reminded me of a Jack Nicholson movie "Somethings Gotta Give" also with Diane Keaton. I highly recommend it.

Mike Douglas said in this interview "Very early on I walked into this club and heard this beautiful voice singing," says Douglas. "I thought Diane was lip-syncing, but it was actually her. She has a great voice."

About half way down the page right under the picture of her on stage with mic in front of her here:
Douglas, Keaton finally get together in 'And So It Goes'

I thought she had an excellent voice, but more than the voice did you notice how she was dressed. Beautifully cut black suit and those 6" stiletto heeled pumps - magic. Clever lady, 68 yrs old and you forget how old she is because she is so classy.

I already knew that Mike Douglas had a son in jail for drugs, and I thought the dialog was excellent when he picks up his son at the jail. I cannot print what he said here for fear of being called a "spoiler"!

I loved the movie especially because it was filmed in Connecticut in an area I know very well! Diane Keating and Michael Douglas had wonderful chemistry! I really enjoyed it!

thank you for that great article...didn't realize it was Frankie Valli playing the club owner! loved the inspiration for the film....my bucket list also includes one more great romance! and i am certainly not alone in that hope...
