This was the best post of yesterday! I watched the trailer and the first half looked so good, a nice blend of the early movie storyline with some of the more current action sequences and then the second half of the trailer starts to look way too over the top like the last couple movies. Oh well, its not like I am going to turn down a fast and furious movie.

I enjoy a good action film and there are so many fans of these that I decided to watch them all in sequence last year. The first was OK but I thought they rapidly went downhill after that to the point that they got painful to watch. I mean, a car being chased by a submarine? Really? I've yet to make myself watch the Hobbs and Shaw spinoff. Now it sounds like they are going to have car chases in space.

I've got an annual pass to Universal Studios in Orlando and they have a Fast and Furious ride that is full of outlandish and utterly stupid action, is loud as hell and has no real story. And it's still better than most of the movies.

But hey, we don't and can't all like the same things. I know for sure that some of the movies I love strike many if not most people as terrible. David Byrne's True Stories is a prime example of that.
