I had not seen this 2011 movie until yesterday. Quite good with a lot of Hawaiian scenes as well as music.

Descendants had a multiple run on HBO about a year ago, I must of watched it 3 or 4 times. It was directed by Alexander Payne, the same fellow that did Sideways, which is one of my all time favorites. It doesn't have the same humor as Sideways but is a lighthearted drama filmed in Hawaii. I remember seeing it recently listed on Reelz Channel or something like that, but you'll have to put up with the commercials.

I got it from the snail mail Netflix.


You may want to check the local libraries. They often have DVDs and some Blu Rays. These are often purchased DVDs too so they have all the extras which are missing from some movie studio's rental offerings.
