Great writing, acting and music. It is a very dark tale though of a teenager trying to survive along with her younger siblings in a drug culture in the Ozarks.

Much scenery from southern Missouri along with local music.

My guess is it will be one of the 10 movies getting Oscar nods for Best Picture in 2011.

Agree. The girl in the lead role was excellent. Amazing what their life was like in the Ozarks.

Entertainment Weekly (Nov 19, 2010) lists that actress (Jennifer Lawrence) as being a possible nominee for Best Actress for the Oscars.
