Anyone been watching Hollywood week on this Season's American Idol? I skipped the city auditions because of the constant bickering of the two female judges. At least, you get to see less of the judges and more of the contestants during Hollywood week.

I usually record the program and watch by MY choice, i.e., commercials, horrible talents is a huge fast fwd....

I never gave any thought to Kieth Urban, however he has an amazing personality and one can see the music in his soul which is so pure and for real, not at all a phony.

Haven't picked fav contestants yet as the weeding out tells all at that time.

I was shocked for them to allow the girl to slaughter the national anthem then the judges laughed about it and put her through. I vowed not to watch the show anymore, but here I am watching Hollywood week. She is still in it and I can't figure out why unless it is the drama she causes.

I agree with you on that one. They still seem to be going for the teen ratings still more than anything else. Some very odd talents have been put through while others are yanked.

Actually like Keith Urban as a judge. Not very impressed with the other three as judges.

Now that they have their Top 40 on American Idol has anyone stood out for you so far as a potential winner or is it still too early?

They may eliminate 10 men and women from the Top 20 over the next three days. Have not looked at their calender of when shows were on this Season if they will stick in one or a couple of wild cards.

I'm thinking Idol may have run its course. Bad judges. Bad singers. Ridiculous try-outs. I will, however, watch as it nears this years winner.

I agree that the judges leave lot to be desired. Their selection process of cutting The Top 40 so drastically too through the process they used forced them to axe singers that probably would have developed through all the training they give these talents. The judges also seem to be putting some people who are just flat out rating's developers.

They really do not need equal numbers of boys and girls at this stage as this is not a dancing competition where they have to pair up different sexes into teams.
