Really love Layla.
Impossible to name one favorite as he is one of my best artists of all time, since the 60's with the Yardbirds up to his new album today called "Meanwhile". Really love everything he does!! He is my guitar god at 80.

He turned 80 yesterday. Layla, I shot the sheriff (Bob Marley), White Room, so many can’t just pick one.
Remarkable guitar player; 3 time inducted in Rock and Roll hall of fame; Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist.
He started playing on cheap thick strings according to a autobiography. This undoubtedly played into his style.

Crossroads. I saw him too. Not with Cream, but when he was with the Blind Faith in Madison Square Garden. They were awesome. the band members were:

Eric Clapton
Stevie Winwood
Ginger Baker
Ric Grech

The Blind faith album is one of my favorites.
