I’m a newbie to TV. Became a permanent resident 3/4/25.
I was here in November 24 and stopped at Everglades rec ctr to see sales rep and I saw 2 guys come out of a room carrying electric guitar cases. I play electric (Strat and Tele) thru Blues Jr amp, and I’m looking for people to play/make music with. I play Eagles, Stones, Clapton, early Fleetwood Mac stuff as well as basic blues and even some Christian music. I see there’s the Guitar Club of Southern Oaks meeting 4/1 at Everglades. I contacted POC but info on format wasn’t provided.
I’d be interested to meet up with players during the day m-f for a few hours to play. Bass n drums welcome too. I’m not a pro and I don’t read music, but I can play ok. Responses welcome!

Check ouut the "BeatleManiacs". They meet every Friday morning @ 10:00. You can sit in with the regular band, or just listen. Plenty of guitar players there...

I'm not quite full time just yet, but I'll be looking for jam mates in the near future.

I also play "Classic Rock" and "So-Cal Rock". I'm a bit of a lunatic collector (at one point, I had 50+ guitars), but I've been trying to "thin the herd". Down to a couple of Strats, Teles, LPs, Gretches and PRS. I still have my Martin D-35 that I bought in '76 after my freshman year of college.

AFA as amps go, I have a Vox AC-15 and a Carvin Tweed in FL, plus a Fender 65 DR-RI and a Bogner Shiva at my house in MD..
