Maybe I can help a little because your above post is a little vague and the title really doesn't say much. NME stands for New Music Express, it's a British music magazine started in the 1950's. You could consider it the UK version of Rolling Stone.

Now, the concert you link us to, was at Wembley in London on Sunday April 11, 1965. The bands featured were totally LIVE and RAW: The Moody Blues, Freddie and the Dreamers, Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, The Seekers, Herman's Hermits, The Ivy League, Sounds Incorporated, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, The Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, Donovan, Them, The Searchers, Dusty Springfield, The Animals, The Beatles, and The Kinks.

I'm not sure, but this may also have been a theatrical release here in the U.S. I can remember being about 15 and going to the movies and seeing a show similar to this, however the movie I remember was in color. Maybe it was redone for film.

Thanks for filling in the info. I really should have included it.

The Brit-group U.S. release you might be thinking of could be "Pop Gear" aka "Go-Go Mania." Lots of good groups. Until just recently it was on YouTube.

Individual segments are still on. This was one of the better ones.
The Honeycombs - Have I The Right

So much good music on Youtube.
Here's a song that should have been a major hit:
Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich - Hold Tight

I just looked it up, and you're right, it was Go-Go-Mania. That one is in color and I remember Billy J. Kramer singing Little Children was in the show and he's not listed on NME concert.

The first real concert I went to was around 1968 in St. Petersburg to see Vanilla Fudge. I can remember getting ready for school and listening to the radio in the morning and I wouldn't turn it off until I heard You Keep Me Hanging On.
