I enjoyed that show more than any other show I have seen at the Savannah Center. Not one person made a dash for the door until the show was completely over.

THE DOZER'S WERE SENSATIONAL ,,,,AS THEY ALWAYS ARE......I THOUGHT THEIR NEW SONG "YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVIN FEELING " WAS OUTSTANDING AND THEY SOUNDED JUST LIKE THE RIGHTEOUS BROS, MAYBE BETTER ,
ALSO THEIR RENDITION OF THE VILLAGE PEOPLE SINGING "AARP" WAS HILLAREOUS............
THE PLACE WAS PACKED AND THE DOZER'S ARE STILL THE BEST BAND AROUND...........

PS I MIGHT BE A LITTLE PREJUDICE AS MY BROTHER WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS,,,,,,,

FUMAR ..... . ...

I, too, went to the show. FABULOUS!! I had never heard of the group before but they were excellent.

Default A Great Evening

The best show I've seen in years. For the most part, their versions of the classic songs were better than the original hits. An incredibly versatile and talented group. Thank you for recommending them Uncle Fumar. I never would have gone otherwise.

The Righteous Bros song was awesome as was Mel Carter's Hold Me, Thrill Me. Kiss Me

I agree, no one can sing a Roy Orbison song except Roy Orbison....

I'm curious why they didn't do any Beatles songs.

As a dedicated Beatlemaniac (My youngest son's FIRST name is McCartney) we discused the same question on the way home. I suspect they have a catalog of Beatle covers. Perhaps they refuse to give royalties to Michael Jackson.

btw, I've seen the Duprees 2 times.... if you like Doo-Op music and great harmonies you will love their show.

One more thing... back home in Pa, FM 93.3 WBZD out of Williamsport Pa (Little League fame) did a Sun AM Beatles Brunch from 9-11 am every week. It was an incredible show and I got to know the 2 DJ's quite well. They really knew their Beatle music, history and trivia. Anyone think such a show would be a winner on WVLG?
