Default LSL Entertainment tonight

Went to LSL to see the Corvette show which was great. Lots of vettes from different years. Fun to talk to the owners.
In the background was the evening's entertainment, 3 for the Road. It was painful to listen to them. There is no luster or life to their singing which, oftentimes, was not even on key. It was like they were just chanting the words and staring at the audience. Someone had written a few weeks ago that the entertainment on the squares is losing ground and I would have to agree based on tonight's performance. After looking at the vettes, we went to City Fire and heard some really great music by Johnny Alston.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially on music. Let me say that I am one of the singers for 3 For the Road, and in the year we have been performing, this is a very atypical comment. The 200 or so people who were there right until 9PM, cheering, applauding and singing along, clearly didn't share your opinion.

Check out any group Clark Barrios is in: Pulse, Impulse, C Squared, Funtastics, Clark Barrios Band, etc. He is awesome and always does a great job. Also, Rocky and the Rollers, Yesterdayze, Uncle Bob's Rock Shop and Scooter the DJ. Wish all of them performed more often! They are all first class performers.

This past Friday night was my final night during my visit to The Villages. I really enjoyed listening to 3 For The Road at LSL. I just wish I was a villager so that I could listen to 3 For The Road on a regular basis. Please keep up the great work, and I hope you get a lot more gigs in The Villages.
