Default Lennon/McCartney songs for this week's American Idol

American Idol: What Should the Season 12 Top 9 Sing for Lennon-McCartney Week?

They have done this theme very often on American Idol. Could be enjoyable though.

Worth watching as we all know the words. Maybe it's my slight loss of hearing but today's singers need to take diction lesson.

There will never be another Sinatra for diction. Clear and concise.

Just sayin....

The "Idols" who did "Come Together" and "I Will" did a decent job. The guy who butchered "In My Life"is still on. Go figure.
And the fact that Miriah Carey never heard "She's Leaving Home" is just shocking. Oh, that is just from some unknown album called "Sgt. Pepper" or something.

Wouldn't you think that someone who is going to be judging some songs might familiarize herself with those songs beforehand?

With several of the songs, I didn't even recognize them until about half way through. I just wish they didn't always have to change the tune so much to try to "freshen it up". With those songs, I liked them just the way they were.
