I am trying to start a band. I am a singer of many years experience. The type of music will be r&b and soul music from the mid 60's to about mid 70's. I have a interested tenor sax guy so far. So a few more guys are needed. I figuring five horns give or take. Baritone, another tenor, trombone, two trumpets. Then we will need a drummer, lead ax and bass. Keys will be a must. If possible, background chick singers but that can come later. Starting will some easy somes like Midnight Hour and Knock on Wood, Tell Daddy and so on. Who knows where this will go. Will try for a room in a rec center for practicing. Will then look for a P.A. Thats for the future. This can be great. I don't think we will ever make a dime but it is not important to me.
