There is sad news for all who enjoy dancing and jamming at McCalls. Lester, the elderly black gentleman who always had a big smile and stayed on the dance floor non-stop most nights, has passed away...Linda Lu would like all his friends to come to Spanish Springs town square saturday night for a bit of a memorial. Beautiful Bobby Blackman will be playing and Lester's family has agreed to come. So if you missed the chance to pay your respects at the funeral, please come and remember one of our beloved Villages characters! RIP Lester.

Cha, wonder if this could get posted with title that most will read: Tribute to Lester (lastname), SS, Jul 13.
I wasn't sure if the McCall's was the tavern or a magazine. I'd have missed it if it weren't authored by you.
I only went there a couple of times, but I remember Lester jumping around.
I plan to come.
