So, do you have experience singing with a rock band? Would you like to try it again? Then read on, because this post just may be your ticket!
Villages rock band needs a lead singer and if you have the chops we would like to hear from you and have you come audition. First, you must be a resident of The Villages and secondly, you must be interested and available to sing with a working band. Simple really, the Band plays a selected setlist and you sing the songs. It's an opportunity for you to see how you might fit into a band. It's not for everyone, but if you think you're what we are looking for then practice these songs and call for an audition. Here's you set list (in no particular order): Bad Case of Lovin’ You (Robert Palmer) Pretty Woman (Roy Orbison) Wild Nites (Van Morrison) Long Train Running (The Doobie Brothers) Long Cool Woman…(The Hollies) Knock on Wood (Wilson Pickett) Old Time Rock and Roll (Bob Seger) Honky Tonk Women (The Rolling Stones) Wonderful Tonite (Eric Clapton) Gimme Some Lovin (Spencer Davis Group) The Band plays classic rock and roll from the Sixties to the early Eighties. So if this is your era and you want to perform, this may be your time. Next audition will be on Tuesday July 12 so get ready! If this isn't for you maybe you have a friend or neighbor who can sing rock? Waiting for your contact! |

Thanks Pepe! In the month or so since we corresponded, we have settled on a great new singer. I sent you a follow-up email last week in reply to yours of last week. Check your email. Best wishes, John P.

If that doesn't work out I know how to turn a duck into a soul artist.
Put it in the oven until it's Bill Withers. |
