Default Villages Pops Chorus Holiday Concert

Hi everyone! Tickets are now on sale for The Villages Pops Chorus first Holiday Concert! We have had audiences of over 950 at both of our concerts, so we are performing twice on the same day for this concert. The date is Monday December 8, times are 3:30 and 7PM, at North Lake Presbyterian Church on Rolling Acres Rd. All tickets are $12, and net proceeds are donated to local charities. Our program will include many of your favorite popular songs of the Christmas season, like "Sleigh Ride", "Let There Be Peace on Earth", "Merry Christmas Darling", the iconic "Christmas Time Is Here" from Charlie Browns Christmas, and a medley from the Grinch movie. We will also perform the Peter Paul and Mary song "Light One Candle" using the arrangement they used when singing it with the New York Choral Society. It's a very powerful piece. And Billie Thatcher, one of our singers whom you may have heard of will sing "Mary Did You Know". It will be great fun with fabulous music sung by our 145 person chorus. Hope you will come and see us. Thanks!

Tickets are available at all Villages Box Office locations and online, and will be available at the door. Michael Fortuna did a nice article on the event that was in the Daily News Saturday 11/29 in the Local News section.
