Default Tony Bennett Singing at 85 in London

Two songs by Tony Bennett. The first, is my favorite.

Celine Dion and Tony Bennett - If I Ruled The World - YouTube

He sang the second song, when he was 85, in London.

Tony Bennett How Do You Keep The Music Playing - Live 2011 - YouTube

I love the lyrics to these songs. What is your favorite Tony Bennett song?

I saw Tony Bennett at the South Shore Music Circus in Massachusetts about ten years ago. He was great, But, what was really amazing was that his drummer and pianist left the stage. The guitarist began softly playing some chords. Tony put the microphone down on top of the piano and sang Fly Me to the Moon to about 5,000 people without a microphone. The guy is the best singer that ever lived.

My band did a corporate event with him in Rome a few years ago. Walked by his room in the hotel as he was answering the door for room service in his underwear....red boxers. YES he's one of the greats and a really nice guy too.

Was Clayton Cameron on drums? He might be the best drummer in the world.

One of the great singers of all time. The NY Times once said that he didn't just bridge the generation gap, he destroyed it.

Actually, it was 1993, more than a few years ago! Ralph Sharon was still traveling with Him and Clayton "Brush Master" was there also Doug Richeson. One of the best shows I ever saw.

Frank Sinatra once said Tony Bennett was the best singer in the world, better than me he said. I agree.

Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, I would blast their music in my car while cruising. You had to love them, such showmen.

He recently played in Pittsburgh where they turned off the mics and you could hear him plain as day from the last row of the balcony. My favorite Tony Bennett song is "When Joanna Loved Me"
