It looks like the actors and writers on going to be on strike!

Will anyone miss them??

Won't miss them for a few years. Plenty of old shows I have never seen.

Yes. The movie and TV show production will slow down a lot unless they come to a quick settlement.

I have not been to a movie in years and maybe once or twice a year watch an old one on TV. I prefer to read.

Please let me know if they do not come to terms by this time next year.

However how are these people making 20 million or so a movie going to survive?

They can stay out on strike as long as they want - all the best movies are on TCM.

Need to find a picket line to cross. Do wonder how much the writers are getting paid so not sure without that whether to be sympathetic or not.

I used to go to the movies once a week or more but do use other resources for watching movies now.

I see percentages but do not see the actual dollars they make or are looking for so the article does not give the info I would like to see.

Won't miss them at all. I haven't watched prime time television in nearly 15 years. I've probably only gone to 5 or 6 movies in that time. If I want to destroy brain cells on a massive scale, I'll drink a bottle of whiskey every day.
