This is another of the latest great TV programs. I used to think that the 50's were the golden age of television but now I think we're in it and we should appreciate it. From "The Sopranos" to "The Wire" to "Mad Men" to "Dexter" to "Homeland" to "Breaking Bad" and now "Boardwalk Empire" we are getting to see some really great TV dramas that probably couldn't be made as movies and couldn't be made as TV shows before cable. Let's enjoy this latest entry in the pool for greatest TV show ever. Whoa, I almost forget "Game of Thrones". It just keeps getting better and better.

Boardwalk is my husband's favorite show as well as Homeland, which we both enjoy.

Boardwalk was actually better this past week.......we've watched it since the beginning.......

Thanks for that info. Great singer and very beautiful. I wondered if her character is based on Lady Day, who sang at the Cotton Club?
