Breaking Bad.
Breaking Bad - Rotten Tomatoes
I watched a number of seasons of this but could not quite make it through to the end. |

Well, I loved the series, likely in part because it takes place in my home town. I will have owned and operated several self storage sites there for 50 years come April 15. It is fun to see familiar turf used throughout the filming. The car wash was an "Octopus" car wash I have visited many times. My former wife's sister resides on the first residential street behind it. The carwash has now been totally renovated and does a land office business. I eat at a Twisters when there. One of Twister's sites was used as the Los Pollos Hermanos in Breaking Bad. I also am all too familiar with the local culture which was well integrated into Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan, a genius IMO.

That was a great series. Brian Cranston was a great actor who played the role perfect.

It was the most amazing first episode of any series that I have ever watched. Totally hooked at that point.

One of the best shows I've ever watched. Better Call Saul (prequel) is very good too, although there has been a big gap since the last season.

Bob Odenkirk had a heart attack in real life(luckily survived) and there was the covid delay too but I think he finished filming the last season and I am looking forward to watching it. I think it is better than Breaking Bad which I really enjoyed too.

I loved Breaking Bad but loved the AMC (and on Netflix) prequel
to BB - Better Call Saul - even more. |

I watched the entire series on Netflix and loved it. There were a few episodes that were kind of slow, but overall was very well done.

Stick with it...it's worth the ride. Lots of closure in the final episode. The music soundtracks used throughout the series were excellent, but the most poignant was the inclusion of Badfinger's "Baby Blue" in the final scene.
