Hey OP,
Thanks for sharing, have watched it and enjoyed it very much!!! Still in season 2, his permit for the restraunt was turned down, but still a few episodes to go yet in season 2. I did not expect the community to vote against the restraunt as he was planning on using local farmers to support it.
Thank you for sharing your experience as would not have tuned it if it was not for your post/thread!!!

I separate the entertainer from his or her work and only really skip stuff if they are very closely meshed together. Great actors and actresses lose themselves in their roles and really have no opinions other than those of the screenwriters.

It’s not so easy for me to separate the actor from their role. Clarkson’s remarks have tainted him for me. I enjoyed the first season of Clarkson’s Farm as I knew nothing of the guy himself. Now I have to look at him with different eyes.

Taking another example, I can enjoy Mel Gibson's work in Hamlet , Braveheart and Hacksaw Ridge without thinking about some racist comment he has made in the past. Or even in the present.

I have to agree with Velvet in this case. I think the difference between Mel Gibson and "Hamlet" and Clarkson and is that "Clarkson's Farm" is a Reality show and, as such, Clarkson's role cannot be separated from his personality. That's something I could do with Mel Gibson and Shakespeare, but probably not Mel Gibson in his own reality show.

"Hacksaw Ridge"?

Don't think he was in that one... His son, Milo, was though...

I watched it and enjoyed it, but my husband did not understand a word he said.

Don't think Amazon is funding a season 3 due to the recent events. Enjoyed both seasons, though.

There probably will be a final season 3.
Clarkson may step aside and leave the running of farm in Calebs hands, with a few new characters added.

I have spent a little time in the Cotswolds and found it a beautiful area. Harry and Megan are of course despicable. Clarkson sounds like a great guy. I'll tune into his show.

That is an interesting take and could be a good way for Clarkson to go. I think he probably gets bored with local politics and Gov. regulations.

There seems to be so much of this in the world with talented people saying stupid things,
then fading of the face of the earth.

Or it's better to ask for forgiveness then to ask for permission.

Ex: Will Smith, Matt Laurer, Bill Crosby, O.J. Simpson and so many others
