Default Commercials: which ones do you like/think are funny?

On another thread (Sub-Titles) there were some comments about people’s distaste for commercials on tv. Okay, there was some outright hatred for them.

Anyway, for the most part I agree, but there are some funny ones out there. What’s your favorites?

One of mine is the golfer that wants to play through Ricky Fowler’s group, and he does everything but pace off the distance before he tees off. Fowler’s reaction is hilarious. Heck if I even remember what they’re advertising.

What’s yours?

Their all stupid and the reason I watch very little television.

Commercials are an insult to a person's intelligent, especially trying to catch a half hour of news weather and sports,
and you get 15 minutes of commercials and some commercials twice.

We watch no commercials. We stream everything and only from sources that have a subscription without commercials. It means we don't always get series on the same day as others, but we can wait.

As I never waste time watching a commercial I haven't a clue.

there was a time when I looked forward to watching the commercials during the Super Bowl....but no more.

Commercials now merely offer me an opportunity to get up and do something else...but I rarely watch TV anymore

Haven't seen many recently, except on YouTube and then you can usually click out of those after six seconds, which I almost always do. The ones I have seen (usually on Prime "free with ads"s offerings), seem sorta juvenile.

Interesting, though. Just this morning I was watching a YouTube channel about 1980s and 1990s commercials. There were some corny ones but a lot of them were pretty well-done, considering. The Pepsi commercials were catchy. And who could forget that little old grey-haired lady roaring "Where's the beef"? Some of those commercials for Polaroid cameras were good too.

I've seen little worth remembering in the last ten years or so.

Who doesn’t love Walter the Cat, who can do anything.

It just makes you smile.

Wonder if commercial TV has to charge less to play commercials as so many of us zap thru them.

I’m at a loss coming up with any modern day commercials that are funny or likable? Back in the day I could have come up with a long list, starting with Miller Light and Alka Seltzer. I guess you have to be part of the target market for products to begin to find them likable?

I like the publix ad where the guy is at the dentist and tells his wife the spaceman said there would be ice cream
